Mark Wright Touches Down In LA For New ITV2 Reality Show 'Mark Wright's Hollywood Nights'

After Mark Wright's dodgy presenting efforts on Take Me Out: The Gossip we were left wondering if he'd return to TOWIE with his tail between his legs.

But someone out there obviously thinks Mark's more than just a pretty face as he's managed to bag himself a fly-on-the-wall reality show for ITV2.

The five part series, set to air over the summer, will follow Mark and his entourage as they live it up on holiday in Hollywood.

Mark - with a group of mates in tow - arrived at LAX Airport yesterday and it looked like he was settling into LA life straight away - checking himself out in a car window.

Before the news of the show was announced, he cryptically tweeted: "On my way 2 the airport 4 what is my next adventure. TOWIE, JUNGLE, TMOTG & now this. All will b revealed soon guys. I know u r going 2 love."

Mark will be a very busy boy, as not only has he got his own primetime ITV1 show coming up with Melanie Sykes, he's also been cast in a film along with Kelly Brook and Danny Dyer.

Not that Danny's too happy about the casting, as he fumed to The Sun earlier this year about having to work with the reality star.

"It's bad enough that Kelly Brook is supposed to be in it, but Mark Wright? Do me a favour," he said.

Ouch.

Is he really that big a star in the UK? The US is starting to get like this too, people just being famous for being famous. It's happening more and more. In the past you actually had to have a talent, now you just get on a reality show, make a splash and that gets the ball rolling with a career in television. Frankly, I don't understand it.

The only thing good about the media obsessing over this parasite is that it gives me a reason to moan. A media outlet covering this guy is akin to a man putting on a football shirt, IQ plummets and you get the feeling you should avoid them.
