Mum Patricia Krentcil has been arrested for apparently letting her five-year-old daughter use a tanning booth.
The little girl told teachers at her school that she had got sunburn from 'tanning with mommy'. Police were called to her school as she was allegedly in extreme pain from her burns.
Her mum Patricia, from New Jersey was then arrested and charged with child endangerment.
She has pleaded not guilty and claims her daughter has never been inside the tanning with her, and instead was burnt after being outside in the sunshine with her friends.
She told Fox 5 News her daughter did accompany her to the tanning salon, but did not go inside the booth, and although admits she perhaps tans a little too much (you think?), she would never put her little girl in danger.
