'The Voice': Will.i.am Is Considering Signing For Second Series

Will's Willing For 'The Voice' Series Two

Will.i.am is enjoying his stint as a coach on BBC1 talent show The Voice and hopes to continue his role in the second series, a friend of the star has told The Huffington Post UK.

"He's really happy about it and he's thinking of doing the next series," his pal said, dampening rumours that the frank singer is fed-up with the show.

Speculation has also been rife that his fellow coaches - Tom Jones, Danny O'Donoghue and Jessie J - will jump ship from the show ahead of the second series.

The Voice equalled its lowest audience so far this Saturday in a show dogged by mishaps, including Jessie J halting her live performance of We Are Young after a few seconds because of technical difficulties.

An average audience of 5.68 million tuned in - half the number of people who watched when the £22 million series launched two months ago.

However, it seems the reality is Will - who has worked with some of music's biggest names, such as Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, U2 and Rihanna - is still as "proud of being part of the show with a person like Tom Jones" as he was at the beginning of the series.
