Olympics Concert: McFly Added To The Bill For Hyde Park Gig

Limbering Up For Olympics Gig

Chart stars McFly have been added to the bill of the free Olympics concert in London's Hyde Park.

The quartet - whose drummer Harry Judd won last year's Strictly Come Dancing - will play the BT London Live show on August 4.

They join a list of acts which includes Sir Tom Jones, the cast of We Will Rock You, Feeder, Dodgy, The Levellers, Cast and Amy Macdonald.

The event will also feature giant screens carrying footage of many of the sporting events that day, with 25 medals to be awarded.

Finals of the women's 100m final and women's triathlon are among the highlights along with a number of swimming and rowing finals.

The event is in addition to the BT London Live shows which coincide with the opening and closing ceremonies, featuring Duran Duran and Blur.
