Angelina Jolie is hard at work in the English countryside, tapping into her dark side to play Sleeping Beauty's wronged anti-heroine.
Jolie plays the title role of Maleficent, the fairy whose succession of bad-hair-with-horns days leads her to put a curse on the fair Aurora.
And the film is told through Maleficent's perspective, which gives it the potential to be more quirky and unpredictable than your average Disney tale.
Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton and Miranda Richardson are also in the big-screen adaptation, not due in cinemas until March 2014.
Jolie, her partner Wossisname and their flock have decamped to the genteel burbs of Richmond, Surrey in south-west London for the summer while Jolie makes two films here back-to-back.
