BBC Three's reputation for breaking new comedy talent continues apace with the launch of its new exclusive web comedies series Feed My Funny.

“We already invest in loads of online comedy shorts for new talent, writers and directors," said Zai Bennett, BBC Three Controller. "We are delighted to now commission seven full length comedies exclusively for the web. Hopefully this is how we will find and nurture the next Little Britain or Gavin and Stacey”.

The seven shows range from sketch acts to hidden camera stunts, via stand-up, surreal silent comedy and more. Impractical Jokers sees four friends compete in unbelievably awkward scenarios - all recorded by hidden cameras - while Celebrity Bitchslap News is spoof celebrity gossip show as imagined by queen of lookalike photographs Alison Jackson. The parodies continue with People Just Do Nothing, a mockumentary about the second most popular pirate radio station in West London, Kurupt FM.

Fans of the Horse iPad (and Cariad Lloyd) will be delighted to see that the Dawson Brothers have been given a 30-minute show in Dawson Bros. Funtime - that's their Facebook Stalker song above - with more sketch comedy coming from Rich Fulcher and others in For The Win. Mime act The Boy With Tape On His Face delivers delightfully silly sketches in The Tapeface Tapes, and comic Imran Yusuf brings a mixture of stand-up and sketch comedy to The Imran Yusuf Show.

So do we indeed have a new Little Britain or Gavin and Stacey on our hands? Check out clips from each of the shows below - and head on over to BBC Three's Feed My Funny website to see them all in full.
