They'll be reunited on stage later this month but Jason Donovan has admitted that he hasn't spoken to his ex Kylie Minogue in over three years.
The former lovers are due to take to the stage together for the first time in 23 years at the Hit Factory Live concert in Hyde Park, where they are expected to sing their duet, Especially For You.
Speaking to TV Buzz magazine, the former teen heartthrob said: "It's going to be a really wonderful moment. I think that for both of us it will probably feel more sentimental than emotional because we've both moved on so far in our lives.
"Kylie is great and she looks fantastic, but we've gone from being really close - as we were back then - to being just acquaintances now.
"Before we agreed to do this reunion, I hadn't actually spoken to her for three years because we lead such different lives."

Meanwhile, Kylie has been telling the musicians due to appear at events to mark the London Olympics to be 'prepared to be amazed'.
Kylie - who performed at the Sydney Olympics closing ceremony in 2000 - told Sky News: "Prepare to be amazed.
"I still am thrilled at the memory of performing there because, doing it in your own country there's such a sense of pride that you're hosting the Olympics.
"To be at the centre stage of the event is just extraordinary."
