We really had to stare long and hard at these pics before we could work out which Hollywood leading man it was - and now we know, we're still not entirely convinced.
Believe it or not, this is The Hangover star, Bradley Cooper. Yep, the very same Bradley Cooper who was voted the Sexiest Man Alive by readers of People magazine last year.
So what's with the facial expression? And why has he borrowed a pair of Simon Cowell's shorts?
Well, it's all in the name of art (dahlink). Brad is currently treading the boards in a production of The Elephant Man.

He plays the lead role of Joseph Merrick in the play which has just opened at the Williamstown Theatre in Massachusetts.
The 37-year-old star is no stranger to whipping off his shirt on the big screen but this is a whole new direction for him as he plays a man who suffers from extreme deformities.
The play runs until 5 August.
