Soon-to-return Sharon Watts endures an angry confrontation with her jilted groom as she makes her Walford comeback.
Former Eldorado and Footballers' Wives star Jesse Birdsall plays her dumped fiance John, in scenes of high drama to be screened over the coming weeks.
Sharon - played by Letitia Dean - is heading back to Albert Square after an absence of more than six years.
Sharon needs Phil's help when she returns to Eastenders
Viewers will see her seeking Phil Mitchell's help as she turns up on his doorstep almost hysterical next month when the BBC is to screen seven editions of the soap in a week.
Phil (Steve McFadden) tries to calm her as she explains she has walked out on her wedding day and needs Phil to help her get her son back.
When they attempt to return him, they have to face the wrath of John at the reception venue.
Over the weekend the BBC began screening trailers for Sharon's return showing a storm causing havoc in the Square.

Rehersal script for Eastenders cast---you go into that room argue scream and shout at him and you two go into the other room and you argue scream and shout at her.Don't worry about the stupid plot as all those gullible viewers will watch any nonsense that's shown.By the way next week Dirty Den comes back as his long lost brother and Angie is back as her sister.

Can't wait for Dallas to return the plots may not be much better than some of our soaps but at least most of the Dallas stars male and female are easy on the eye and for one hour you can just lose yourself in the make blelieve world with all the money and glamour - how fickle am I, but I love it!

These soaps are far more interesting when they have a 'sinister' character in them. The marital, love problem stories are so predictable and boring and now there's another one yet again coming up in Eastenders with the return of 'Sharon'. At least Coronation Street has some humour now and again.

every time they run out of ideas or viewing numbers fall they drag someone back. I saw a brief bit of a totally unbelievable stereotype of the ian beal character dressed as a tramp. Total rubbish. you would think soapland would have the highest suicide rates anywhere if people's lives were that bad.

Can't believe anyone wastes their lives watching of any of the soaps. I tried them all once or twice just to check them out. What a load of rubbish and laughable plots and acting.

Stopped watching it years agp as ot was sp depressing and violent. I urge anyone who is not in full spirits to give it a miss. It could just send them over the edge. Most soaps are getting that way also. Violence, sex, cheating and boozing. I suppose they are realistic anyway.
Craggy: Stopped watching it years agp as ot was sp depressing
I gave it a go for a few months when it first started but found it so depressing - and removed from real life - that I stopped watching. Now a former Eastenders producer, John Yorke, is acting Editor of The Archers for Radio 4 and, since his arrival, it's been nothing but sensational, unrealistic storylines with plenty of mindless violence and snarling confrontations. Happily, the appointment is only temporary.
Marben, They go too far over the top. It was supposed to be like real life, only a little bit more. Now as you say it is all sensationalism. It gets boring, depressing and becomes bad taste. The Archers has been going for such a long time. It will be a shame if he spoils it for people. I hope they get rid of him.

Really scraping the bottom of the barrel bringing her back, she can't act, she just gurns her mouth a bit. Stopped watching this show years ago, it was so bad then and I can only imagine it is a lot worse now.

You weren't alone - I watched it as well despite the terrible acting and silly storylines. I stuck with it because it did get better and was just getting into its stride when the BBC pulled the plug.
