It is an unlikely meeting of minds, but Rihanna and Oprah Winfrey looked like old friends as RiRi welcomed the chat show host to her native Barbados.
Oprah had an access all areas pass to Rihanna's life as she filmed a bio of the singer for her new show Oprah's Next Chapter.
The pair were spotted leaving the star's old home, as she gave her a tour of where she grew up before she hit the big time.
However, we don't expect RiRi showed Oprah every aspect of her lifestyle - somehow we can't imagine the chat show host stumbling out of clubs in the wee hours, or endless parading her body in a bikini on the beach.
As the pair rode the streets in Rihanna's jeep, she tweeted a picture of the two of them along the caption: "Look who popped up in my Hometown BARBADOS #topnotch".
Oprah immediately reciprocated, posting: "Look who’s driving me around Barbados!"
Oprah announced she would be quitting her famous daily chat show in 2009, before the last edition aired in May 2011.
She then went on to host her own self-help show, and launched Oprah's Next Chapter at the beginning of the year.
Previous shows included interviews with Lady Gaga, 50 Cent and The Kardashians.
The interview is set to air on 19 August on American network OWN.
