There's nothing we like more than a good old-fashioned singalong. (We tried to get one going on the bus to work this morning - but there were no takers. Perhaps we should have chosen a different song. People seem to have grown tired of Hey Jude for some reason.)
Anyway, we digress. Because of our love for sing-songs, we were more than chuffed when we stumbled across this new musical mash-up by YouTube maestro dondrapersayswhat, in which clips from 295 movies are cut together to re-create Sir Mix-A-Lot's Baby Got Back.
You know the one? It starts off, "I like big butts and I cannot lie". (It's our gran's favourite song, incidentally.) And among the superstar singers are Bugs Bunny, Buzz Lightyear, John Travolta, Humphrey Bogart and Spongebob Squarepants. Oooh - it's like Band Aid all over again.
As you may recall, this isn't the first time dondrapersayswhat (or 'Don', as we prefer to call him) has come up with this kind of thing: he also produced a similar take on Journey's Don't Stop Believin' not so long ago.
A man with too much time on his hands and the world's biggest DVD collection? Very possibly. But we're loving his work.
