Miley Cyrus is a woman on a mission. Now she's reached the grand old age of 19, the Hannah Montana star looks like she wants to shake off her squeaky clean image for good with something a little... dirtier.

The former Disney star was spotted pounding the streets of New York yesterday looking like she'd just left a grungy rock club.

Dressed in denim hotpants and platform Dr Marten boots, Miley finished off her new look with some chunky gold chains and a camouflage jacket wrapped around her waist.

Very on trend, Miley.

And Miley's eye-catching peroxide hair do hasn't gone unnoticed by her fellow celebs either - Charlie Sheen liked it so much that he invited her over!

The US actor tweeted his admiration for the new do, writing: "w/ that new haircut Miles...You're the [bomb icon],Come watch the show at my place! xo"

We bet her fiance Liam Hemsworth will have something to say about that.
