Rather than a catwalk event or a viral exercise, the club's 'new armour' for 'new battles' has been donned by a Hi-def Gareth Bale and team-mates in an elaborate marketing campaign.

The social media friendly effort also continues to ramp up EA Sports' publicity for the annual Fifa game, which will feature Lionel Messi, Joe Hart and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as its cover stars in the UK.
Spurs take on Manchester City in an away strip at White Hart Lane for the video, with Jermain Defoe scoring on a rare outing for the first-team.
Although if we're being pedantic, Spurs did wear an away kit for a home game at the end of the 2002/03 season when beaten 4-0 by Blackburn Rovers.
