A married mother-of-two is facing jail after admitting having sexual relationships with three boys at the secondary school where she worked as a classroom assistant.

Emma Webb, 41, admitted to 16 charges of causing boys aged between 15 and 17 years to engage in sexual activities with her.

The Daily Mail reports that she was accused of sleeping with one pupil on as many as 12 separate occasions and performing sex acts on him and another boy, as well as kissing and touching a third. She also sent one of the boys explicit photographs that she had taken while performing sex acts on herself.

Mrs Webb was working as a mentor and class cover supervisor at a secondary school near Wokingham, Berkshire, when a colleague became suspicious because she was 'too friendly' to some pupils at the end-of-term prom. She was suspended on May 31 and was later arrested after one of the alleged victims reported her to his parents and the school.

At her first appearance in front of magistrates in June, the prosecutor branded her a 'sexual predator'.

Reading Crown Court Judge John Reddihough told her that she would be given 'full credit' for pleading guilty at the earliest opportunity - but she would not be spared jail.

She admitted to two counts of causing or inciting sexual activity with a child; two counts of causing or inciting sexual activity with a child in a position of trust; three counts of causing a child to watch a sex act by viewing a sexual image and nine counts of sexual activity with a child in a position of trust between September, 2009 and October, 2010.

The Express reports that her husband, Andy - who she has been with for 18 years - was in the public gallery during the hearing and Mrs Webb wept as she entered her guilty plea.

She will be sentenced next month.
