Robbie Williams: 'I Want Andy Murray To Model My Clothing Range'

Who Does Robbie Want To Model His Clothing Range?

He might have the mean 'n' moody look down to a tee but we never really saw tennis champ Andy Murray as the modelling sort, but try telling Robbie Williams that.

The singer has revealed that he'd like the US Open champion to be the face of his Farrell menswear range.

"My own first inspiration for a style icon was Sean Connery in James Bond. Nobody else came close. But if I can't get Andy then I'd go for Daniel Craig."

And Robbie also revealed that he'd like to follow in David Beckham's footsteps by designing his own underwear range - but don't expect to see the Take That star stripping off to pose in his pants like Becks.

"I was never going to be one of the skinny-jeans-wearing mob so I thought I'd go for the look of a wrestler. I want to take off my T-shirt at the big gigs next year and feel proud rather than ashamed!"

Meanwhile, Robbie has admitted that he's in the doghouse with his pregnant wife Ayda after scheduling four gigs around the UK - just as she's about to give birth.

As he took to the stage last night for his first solo gig in six years, he told the 2,300 strong crowd at the Academy in Leeds that he had his phone on him in case his wife went into labour.

Robbie's wife, Ayda Field, is due to give birth any day

"So I've got gigs this week, the baby could come at any minute, the wife has said, "If I go into labour and you've got a gig in say Leeds or Dublin, you've got to cancel it and come home," he said.
