But being the A-lister that she is, we didn't think Emma Watson would ever have to worry herself with such style dilemmas. Surely she has people who do that for her?
But the Harry Potter star - or rather, her stylist - looked like they just couldn't make their mind up and so went for both options last night - at the same time. As you do.
Emma rocked up to the gala screening of her new film, The Perks of Being a Wallflower (oh the irony, etc etc) wearing this bizarre trouser/dress combo.
We're calling it the Dressouser.

Meanwhile, the actress has said she'd consider playing the female lead in the forthcoming big screen version of saucy best selling novel, Fifty Shades Of Grey.
Emma - who has been previously linked to the role - said she wouldn't rule out playing Anastasia Steele despite admitting she's one of the last people on the planet who still hasn't read the book.
"The thing is I haven't read any of the book because I haven't read a script so it's quite difficult to know what I'm turning down potentially, but I hear it's quite raunchy," she told the Press Association.
'Quite'.
"I mean, if there's interesting character development and there's an interesting story then I would consider it - but I haven't been offered anything."
Yep, it'll be aaaaall about the character development, Em.
