Strictly Come Dancing's Dani Harmer has said she has found herself a new mummy while filming the series - Fern Britton!
Dani, who shot to fame as Tracy Beaker in the BBC kids' TV show, says that Fern, 55, has been looking after her during their rehearsals, and has become like a 'second mum'.
Dani, 23, adds that she grew up watching Fern on This Morning, and was desperate for her to be as nice in real life as she always appeared on the ITV sofa!
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, Dani gushed:
"The person I was most excited about meeting actually was Fern Britton. I grew up watching her on This Morning all of the time and I just always wanted her to be, like, my auntie. When I first met her I was like, 'Please please please be nice,' and she's just the nicest lady in the world. She's so lovely. She's becoming my second mum already - she's looking after me."
Dani also revealed that she was thrilled to meet Kimberley Walsh as she was a huge Girls Aloud fan, but said that all the Strictly competitors were 'lovely'.
"I was a massive Girls Aloud fan and I really appreciate what they've done. Kimberley is great - she's a really nice girl. But everyone's really down to earth and lovely."
