One Direction have released a lyric video for their new ballad 'Little Things', much to the delight of their adoring fans.

Ed Sheeran wrote the track when he was 17, but gave it to One Direction to record for their second studio album 'Take Me Home' and his sound is still all over the acoustic song.

Last month Sheeran revealed to MTV that the two songs he's given One Direction for their new album are about his ex-girlfriend. He added: "One of them is kind of a getting-back-together song. One of them is an appreciation song."

'Little Things' is obviously the appreciation song, and features lyrics such as "you'll never love yourself as much as I do" as it compliments the girl on all the things she doesn't like about herself.
