Judge Orders Woman Who Drove On Pavement Near School To Wear A Sign Saying 'IDIOT!'

Say what you like about Americans, but you can't deny they have a fantastic way of 'Telling it like it is!'

Take the case of Shena Hardin this week. She was caught on camera driving on a PAVEMENT to avoid a school bus that was unloading children in Cleveland, US.

Over here, she might expect a slap on the wrist and be told not to do it again.

But her punishment in the States was far more fitting: the 32-year-old was ordered to stand at a junction for two days with a sign around her neck reading: "Only an idiot drives on the sidewalk to avoid a school bus."

It's almost poetic in its justice!

The judge ordered her to wear the sign from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 am both days.

In addition, Hardin's license was suspended for 30 days and she was ordered to pay $250 in court costs.

Do you wish bad driving near schools could be punished like this?
