Kevin Pietersen hit a comeback century against a poor Haryana attack at the Sardar Patel Stadium B Ground in England's warm-up match ahead of next week's first Test against India.
Pietersen top billed with 110 (retired out), while captain Alastair Cook (97), Nick Compton (74) and Ian Bell (57 not out) all hit half-centuries.
It was a timely confidence booster for the 'reintegrated' Pietersen after his well-chronicled summer of discontent.
After Compton and Cook had set the stage, Pietersen was increasingly dominant in only his second England innings, even conjuring up an innovative 'reverse scoop' en route to his ton.
