She has two sons of her own, and two stepsons from her partner Ben Andersen's previous relationship, but that isn't stopping Kirstie Allsopp waxing lyrical about how fab it would be to have baby number five!
The 41-year-old star of Location, Location, Location told Woman magazine that she has 'not ruled out' having another nipper but admitted 'it would be an entirely selfish act in some ways, but it would be rather lovely at the same time'.
And with a houseful of boys, Kirstie admits that if she was lucky enough to fall pregnant with a baby girl it would be 'great' but says she 'genuinely' doesn't understand 'women who go on and on about wanting a daughter'.
Kirstie and property developer Ben got together in 2004 - amazingly via Ben's ex-wife Theresa. Kirstie said from the start she was determined to be a good step-mum to her partner's children, Hal, now 12, and Orion, nine.
"You can't take someone on with the knowledge that they have children and then just pick off the good bits," she told Woman, "There are people I love and respect enormously who behave in a way that's rather shameful with their stepchildren."
Back in October last year Kirstie said she did not feel her age and that she was 'considering' another baby. ""I'd love a new baby," she said at the time, "And whatever 40 represents, I don't feel I'm at that stage yet."
Hmmm. And a year on she's not letting this one go, is she? Watch this space then...
