Rockets are cool. But they aren't cute.
One father and daughter team changed all that recently, when they launched a Hello Kitty into space.
The pair - 12-year-old Lauren Rojas and Rod, her father, sent the rocket up into space at a science fair in California.
They got the idea from watching a TV commercial where a balloon was launched into the sky, according to ABC.
It took about a month for her father and her to plan the rocket and launch it 93,625 feet above the Earth.
They recorded the flight with cameras and other sensors, and the clip is pretty amazing. Take a look, above and read the full story here.
