Nothing makes a music fan groan like a bad cover version, but these reinterpretations of classic albums by Christophe Gowans are sure to make anyone smile.
The reason? They're covers for books.
The graphic designer takes iconic works by artists like Jimi Hendrix, LCD Soundsystem and Dire Straits and imagines what they would look like if they were actually works of literature.
Taking the title of the albums on face value, the results include murder mysteries, literary fiction and even self-help books - all beautifully realised.
