Russell Brand's 'Paradise' Co-Star Julianne Hough Reveals Audiences Will See Comedian's Softer Side

Russell Brand Is 'Stripped Away', Says Paradise Co-Star

Russell Brand is set to reveal a softer, more vulnerable side on screen, according to the co-star of his forthcoming film, 'Paradise'.

Julianne Hough, who previously acted alongside the controversial British comedian in the 'Rock of Ages' screen musical, has revealed during a chat with HuffPostUK, that "he does a really beautiful job, there's a lot which is stripped away in this, he's really loveable and calm".

This will come as a relief to Brand fans, still recovering from his last big screen outing, in the ill-conceived 'Arthur' remake.

But Hough, who stars in romantic drama 'Safe Haven' with Josh Duhamel, in UK cinemas this week, is not surprised after noticing this OTHER SIDE to Brand in 'Get Him to the Greek' where he played wavering rock star Aldous Snow.

Russell Brand: Life And Times...

"I remember one scene in 'Get Him to the Greek' where you saw this human side to him," she remembers. "You felt hurt for him, and there’s a lot of those human moments in this. At least that’s what I felt."

After this second outing with the globally-acknowledged womaniser, has Hough somehow debunked his mysterious secret of attractiveness, and is she in lure to his magic web?

"I didn’t have a hand in casting him, so you can’t give me credit for wanting to spend more time with him, but he does call me HuffMuff."

Such is the magic of the man.

Julianne Hough stars in 'Safe Haven', in UK cinemas from today 1 March. Watch the trailer below...
