Supermodel Heidi Klum turned into Supermum to save her seven-year-old son Henry from terrifying crashing waves.

Heidi raced to the rescue when Henry and two of his nannies were caught in a powerful riptide during a beach holiday on the Hawaiian island of Oahu.

The 39-year-old mum and her bodyguard boyfriend Martin Kristen dived into the ferocious waves to grab the frightened boy.

And after dragging him out of the raging surf, Heidi bravely headed back to save one of the nannies.

Heidi and Martin managed to get both childminders to safety before the assistants collapsed exhausted - and Heidi dashed off again for towels and water.

She said later: "We got pulled into the ocean by a big wave. Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child and everyone else in the water. We were able to get everyone out safely."

Heidi was on an Easter break with Martin, Henry and her three other children, Leni, eight, six-year-old Johan and Lou, three, and her dad Gunther, 67.

Henry's dad is British singer Seal. He and Heidi separated last year after seven years of marriage. She began dating Martin shortly afterwards.
