A teenager who works as an actress and Taylor Swift lookalike has spoken out about being bullied for her beauty.

Xenna Kristian, 18, from Telford was recently beaten up at college by a fellow student, and is subjected to abuse in the street by jealous girls.

Speaking about the recent bullying at college, Xenna told BBC News: "I was sat talking with my friends and all of a sudden she came up from behind and grab me by the hair, pulled me backwards off my chair and starting kicking me in the face.

"I tried to get up but she kept kicking me. She was beating and hitting me for no reason."

Xenna thinks the jealousy stems from a musical showcase students performed to industry experts. She was 'spotted' and given an opportunity to develop her acting, modeling and singing skills.

Speaking to the Shropshire Star, Xenna said she often gets abuse in the street, especially about the real Taylor's recent relationship with One Direction star Harry Styles:

"One day I was shopping in Liverpool and somebody walked past and suddenly stopped and said 'oh my God'. They actually thought I was Taylor Swift.

"Most people are really nice but I do get young girls shouting at me 'leave Harry alone'. It was the start of last year that somebody started mentioning that I looked like Taylor Swift and it gradually got more frequent.

"I would go out and would just walk to the toilets in a club or walk around the shops and loads of people would come up to me and say 'you really look like her'.

"They actually think I am Taylor Swift and even though I told them I wasn't, in a British accent, they still ask me to pose for a photo."
