Zayn Malik's mum has joined Twitter in a bid to protect the One Direction star from internet trolls.
Zayn has received a series of abusive messages referring to his Muslim religion and Asian background, but now his mum, Tricia has hit back.

After signing up she told one troll: “Hope you’re happy now Zayn noticed your tweet! You can’t even imagine how it made him upset, you psycho.”
She also told her 39,000 followers: “My son is strong enough.”
Zayn briefly quit Twitter last year after receiving a series of online taunts saying he was a terrorist.
This isn't the first time a member of Zayn's family has taken to Twitter to stick up for him. Earlier this year his sister, Doniya also spoke out, telling a troll: "Get a life sad f***! He don’t even know you exist."
