Shocking CCTV Shows Moment Baby Is Stolen From The Arms Of His Sleeping Mother

This is the moment a baby was stolen from his mother's arms as they slept in a railway station in India.

Two-month-old Salman Shaikh was kidnapped as he slept alongside his mother Parveen Shaikh, 35, and older sister Sajida, three, inside Dadar railway station in Mumbai.

Parveen told police she was sleeping in the train station overnight because she had recently left her husband and didn't have anywhere to go with her children.

The kidnapping on March 9 was captured on CCTV, but sadly police have been unable to trace the little boy or the kidnapper.

Ravinder Dalvi - the investigating officer at Mumbai police - said: 'We have failed to find the baby or the kidnapper so far. We're still working on the case but it seems they've left the city. We're still hoping to find the baby and unite the family."

More than 90,000 children go missing every year in India.
