Andy Murray today embarks on his eighth Wimbledon campaign as he bids to become Britain's first men's singles winner since Fred Perry in 1936.
The Scot was the first Briton to reach the final in 74 years in 2012 but was defeated by Roger Federer in a four-set epic on Centre Court.
Murray returned to the same turf exactly four weeks later to claim Olympic gold against the same man and in August finally lifted his first Grand Slam title at Flushing Meadows.
Three times a semi-finalist at Wimbledon, he is yet to defeat one of tennis's other "big four" members on grass as he embarks on his latest quest to reign supreme at the All England Club.
