Anna Piaggi Dead: Vogue Editor And Fashion Writer Passes Away At 81

Vogue Italia contributing editor, style icon and front row fixture Anna Piaggi has died at the age of 81. The Italian fashion journalist famous for her baby blue hair, excellently eccentric millinery, and unmissable fashion commentary was found dead at home in Milan today.

Tributes from the fashion community have been pouring in, including Vogue Italia editor Franca Sozzani, with whom Piaggi worked for more than two decades, as well as friends Dita Von Teese and Stefano Gabbana.

RIP Anna Piaggi... :((((( ciao grande Anna!!! 🌺

In 2006 the V&A celebrated Piaggi's style with the exhibition Anna Piaggi Fashion-ology, exhibiting personal clothes archive, which included pieces from the likes of Balenciaga, Fendi, Galliano and Poiret.

The reason we loved Anna? Because she made fashion FUN.
