Duchess Kate Is Pretty In Pastels, Wears An Updo For Royal Academy Visit

After a day of cheering on Zara Phillips at Greenwich Park yesterday, the Duchess of Cambridge made a quick change to attend the UK's Creative Industries Reception at the Royal Academy last night. Duchess Kate was joined by the Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt, as she arrived in a lilac dress by Roksanda Ilincic.

The Duchess paired her chic shift with matching pastel pumps, hooped Kiki McDonough blue topaz and diamond earrings and finally, an updo! While her tumbling curls have become her signature style, Kate swapped her loose long locks for a side swept chignon.
