Last week we heard rumours that Prince William has sunk a cool £5 million on a plush new pad for Kate's birthday.
However, it seems that the gossip mongers has their wires crossed. It is now said that The Queen plans to gift the grand Anmer Hall to Kate and Wills as they prepare to welcome their first child.
The house, which is situated in the grounds of Sandringham estate in Norfolk was said to be often visited by Prince William as a child making it a fitting place to raise a family of his own.
The Duke and Duchess currently live between their remote home in Anglesey, where Wills works as an RAF search and rescue pilot, and a cottage in the gardens of Kensington Palace, which they have been using while their new home reportedly undergoes a massive makeover.
Would you mind kicking back in a place like this?
