After her stylish performance at Aintree during the Grand National, we were expecting great things from Katherine Jenkins for her other Liverpool gig - singing alongside Il Divo at the Liverpool Echo Arena.
But, while she looked pretty as usual with her perfectly coiffed blonde curls and flawless makeup, we're not sure if the purple sweet from Quality Street is a good source of fashion inspiration.

The strapless ball gown was dramatic with a column shape at the front and a large 'train tail' adding volume at the back.
