Anne Hathaway was veering towards the latter as she attended the National Board of Review Awards Gala in an androgynous tux-style suit, complete with satin side panel and matching lapels.
What with us ladies taking inspiration from the London Collections: Men Autumn/Winter 2013 fashion shows happening right now, it's a pretty on-trend look.
But, do we really like it? Well, yes, actually, we think Anne really pulls it off, with that short 'do adding to the boyish vibe.
The feminine touches (the strappy sandals, the lace cuffs, the pretty make-up) ensure the looks stays pretty-cool, instead of just cool.
