Alex Buggs, Courtney Rumbold and Karis Anderson aka Stooshe have just released their new album and single Slip and took time out ahead of touring the UK to talk chain-mail dresses, Minnie Mouse and The Goonies...

When I look in the mirror I see... one third of Stooshe. My own worst critic and just... me!
If I were stranded on a desert island with only one dress it would be... one of my fun William Wilde latex dresses so that I could play dress up and make myself laugh.
When I was at school I wanted to be... in a girl band, of course. How cringey.
My biggest style triumph was... I loved the Craig Lawrence chain-mail dress I wore for the Brits 2013. We were nominated for best UK single for Black Heart. It was the perfect dress!
If I could be any character from film or literature I would be... Minnie Mouse. I've always loved her since I was a little girl. I would always dress up as her for fancy dress parties. She's such a lady and I just love all the different variations of the spotted dress she had. She's a cartoon style icon.

When I look in the mirror I see... a woman who I am proud to have grown into today.
If I were stranded on a desert island with only one dress it would be... my Jean Paul Gaultier vintage green dress. I love it! It's three quarter length with a big zip running down the middle, so if I got too hot I could just unzip it and leave it open.
When I was at school I wanted to be... a performer. I would watch artists and musicals imagining I was taking their place on stage, but in reality I was SO scared of singing in public that I kept it quiet for years.
My biggest style triumph was... The Brit Awards this year and the Roland Mouret blue dress I wore. It was beautiful.
If I could be any character from film or literature I would be... Effie White - Jennifer Hudson - from Dreamgirls. I love singing and I know most of the words to all the songs, I'm basically ready for the part now!

If I were stranded on a desert island with only one dress it would be... can I have trainers instead? I'd take all my Jeremy Scott colourful ones. They all have different crazy patterns so I could blend into all kinds of scenery.
When I was at school I wanted to be... doing something that I loved and being creative. I suppose I haven't done too badly!
My biggest style triumph was... I loved my suit which was made especially for me for the Brit Awards. I loved the colour and the little bespoke detailing that made it very me.
If I could be any character from film or literature I would be... well, The Goonies is my favourite film so I would have loved to have been part of the Goonie crew. I would have definitely taken Sloth home to be part of my family!
