The actress was hard to beat for pure perfection in her see-through navy floral-appliquéd Vivienne Westwood gown with a sexy thigh-high split. She finished the look with Fred Leighton jewels and poker-straight hair, and had to be a contender for best-dressed of the night.
Another star who chose midnight-blue was Best Actress winner Jennifer Lawarence, who shone in Christian Dior, but later suffered a wardrobe malfunction when she accepted her Best Actress gong.
Nicole's pal Naomi Watts wowed in Marchesa, while Kerry Washington was heavenly in white Rodarte.
