Paris Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2013: The Weekend Round-Up

From John Galliano to Jean Paul Gaultier, the Autumn/Winter 2013 schedule was jam packed in Paris over the weekend.

On Sunday night, Riccardo Tisci presented his pretty but punky collection for Givenchy. Floral biker jackets and Bambi print sweatshirts took centre stage, along with tartan, leather and beautiful, embroidered sheer skirts. Even the sherbet coloured hair looked rock 'n' roll.

And Givenchy wasn't the only fashion house to bring back grunge to the catwalk. Nothing said Eighties punk like the wigs at the Jean Paul Gaultier show. Leather and fur added extra rock star glamour - all that was missing was the cone-bra from Madonna's JPG days.

As for the biggest spectacle of the weekend, (it's what PFW does best, after all), Kenzo's show in the turquoise and gold La Samaritaine department store complemented the kimono-inspired dresses and multi-coloured metallics beautifully.
