We had resolved, upon working out that Salma Hayek and her magical wardrobe were going to be ALL OVER Venice Film Festival, to write a poem about her next outfit.
Unfortunately the next outfit is this bright orange number and that is a real pain in terms of rhyming so we'll defer our poetic ambitions until next time. And before you suggest that poems don't have to rhyme, you're right but blank verse about Salma Hayek wearing a bright orange cocktail dress on a day out is probably crossing a line into creepy rather than "good-humoured and irreverent".

The actress accessorised with a black necklace, tan bag and nude pumps, all of which are perfectly serviceable and none of which are inspiring us to write a separate poem.
