The theme for the Met Ball 2013 was punk - and some stars embraced the look with gusto.
The Costume Institute Gala Benefit celebrated the opening of the Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. And the real punk rockers of the bash? It had to be Sarah Jessica Parker, and Madonna, who all took on the look whole-heartedly.
SJP had to take the punk crown in her amazing Giles Deacon dress with a split that flashed her black lacy knickers, thigh high tartan Louboutin boots, and a fabulous Philip Treacy mohican couture hat.
Madonna, meanwhile, went all-out in a Givenchy blazer with ripped fishnet suspenders, a studded collar, a studded waist belt and a black fringed bob.
