WATCH: Gerard Butler Talks Playing The Ladies' Man In His New Movie

Hollywood heartthrob Gerard Butler has graced the silver screen in epic action films like 300 and Guy Richie's gritty RocknRolla, as well as showing his softer side in PS I Love You (a Team MyDaily favourite), and now the Scotsman joins a surprisingly stellar cast in the forthcoming rom-com Playing For Keeps.

Gerard plays George, a former Scottish football star, who's fallen on hard times. In a bid to get his life back on track and rebuild his broken relationship with his ex-wife and young son, George moves to a small town in the States to coach his son's football (or soccer) team. His attempts to pick up the pieces are met with challenges from the randy 'soccer moms' who pursue him at every turn.

MyDaily caught up with Gerard and talked movie moments and dug deep to find out whether he's a womaniser in real life...

Gerard and a whole host of Hollywood's finest, including Jessica Biel, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Uma Thurman and Dennis Quaid, star in Playing For Keeps, which hits cinemas on 1 January 2013.
