When it come to graduate collections, it's actually fairly rare to see designs you'd adore to wear. Usually there's a seed of an idea you hope grows - exciting potential.
But this is not the case with Philli Wood, perhaps the stand out designer from the University of Westminster graduate show, because you could happily throw own one of her voluminous coats right now.
You may even have considered mugging the model wearing it just to ensure ownership (er, by "you" I mean me). Design houses should be literally fighting each other to snap this talent up, although I suspect she may do just fine on her own.
This year's outgoing class have confidence across the board and clear skill to back it up. In terms of that potential, it will be interesting to see what Lisa Clayton and Dominic Chapman go next - hopefully somewhere that will let them develop what they've started. Also, Grace Cooper - we're a bit in love with your work.
