London Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2013: Todd Lynn

London Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2013: Todd Lynn

Inspired by The Gopher Gang, (according to the show notes, this was "a New York tribe who would jump people for their clothes then send them to a seamstress for alterations), Todd Lynn's Autumn/Winter 2013 show was all about androgynous tailoring and texture.

Blazers, skirts and dresses were layered and slashed while gloves and jackets were adorned with luxe fabrics such as fur and ponyskin. Christian Louboutin provided the suede ankle boots (with a feet-friendly, chunky heel) and jeweller Shaun Leane added to the raw, sharp edges with his pointed, across-the-finger rings.

The colour palette? Mostly grey and black, with flashes of nudes. The pleated peplums tied around the waist with ribbons are sure to be a hit next season.
