Who is your style icon and why?

Kanye because he likes to play about with fashion and manages to pull off leather trousers and I'm still trying!

Which designer(s) do you most admire and why?

Paul Smith because he has built an amazing British Brand and is a humbling and inspiring man.

Fictional, real, dead or alive, who would you like to swap wardrobes with and why?

Tom Ford because the contents of his wardrobe could literally buy me a Learjet if I sold them on Ebay. To be fair he probably already has one... But he always looks so sharp and like sex on a stick – in a suit!

What is your most treasured piece of clothing/ accessory/jewellery?

My "H" Hillier London Diamond necklace that I was given as a birthday gift and never leaves my neck (unless I am sleeping or showering!)

Do you read any of the fashion or style blogs? What's your favourite?

I love Tumblr – I love to see what people are inspired by and looking at – I can lose hours on that site. I also love to look at Fashionista to keep abreast of the fashion world gossip.

What is your most extravagant fashion purchase?

Shoes – I have a quite a few pairs that I shouldn't have spent that much money on but what the hell I love them. They make me happy.

Describe your style in five words.

All over the bleeding place.

What's your best piece of fashion advice?

Dress for yourself and how you feel. Clothes are a great way of showing the world how you are feeling on the inside.

The fashion event takes place 7-11 December at Birmingham's NEC and will feature catwalk shows, designer guests, celebrities, makeovers, champagne bars, and hundreds of fashion/ beauty brands to shop from. Voila! If this does not a stylish day out make, we don't know what is.
