Made In The Eighties: Club To Catwalk Opens At The V&Amp;A

From 10 July until February 2014, the Victoria and Albert museum will be celebrating the Eighties and no, power shoulders won't be necessary. In fact, if you're thinking of dressing the part, something along the lines of Boy George circa 1984 might do the trick.

Club to Catwalk explores how the 1980s clubbing scene influenced fashion during that era. Over 85 pieces from designers such as John Galliano, Vivienne Westwood and Betty Jackson will be displayed, alongside outfits worn by leaders of the New Romantics and Rave moments.

Rumour has it, the exhibition will also include a pop-up club area too. Fashion, art, clubbing, all under one roof? It's got good time written all over it.
