Anzhi Makhachkala attacker Willian is in London ahead of completing a transfer to Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports.
The 25-year-old Brazilian will sign for Spurs in what could be a club record £30 million deal.
André Villas-Boas, who threatened to resign as Tottenham coach after chairman Daniel Levy failed to sign João Moutinho last year, has already set two record transfer fees this summer.
Willian could become Spurs' fifth signing this summer
Brazilian defensive midfielder Paulinho was signed for £17m before Roberto Soldado arrived for £26m from Valencia.
Nacer Chadli and Étienne Capoue have also joined the club, whose statements of intent could spur Gareth Bale to stay.
Villas-Boas admitted on Monday he admired Willian but insisted Spurs had not submitted an offer for the Brazil international.
The Mail, however, claim Willian has arrived in the capital ahead of the proposed transfer and he could make his Premier League debut in Sunday's home game with Swansea.
