Gareth Bale is the most expensive player in football history after he completed a £85 million transfer from Tottenham to Real Madrid.
The Welshman has signed a six year contract with Real, who have set the world record fee for a player for the fifth consecutive time.

Bale, 24, follows former Real legends Luis Figo, Zinedine Zidane, Káka and Cristiano Ronaldo into the history books, six years after he joined Tottenham for £10m.
The PFA Player of the Year is at the same age as Ronaldo was when he arrived in Madrid from Manchester United in 2009 for £80m.
