The actress, who plays Chas Dingle in ITV soap, is reportedly being lined up to appear on the gruelling reality show by producers, according to the Daily Star.
The 36-year-old previously hinted that she would be up for a stint in the jungle, saying: "I could be a bit of a GI Jane. I'd want to be building and foraging and fishing."
Former soap stars who have entered the Aussie outback include Coronation Street's Helen Flanagan, Antony Cotton and Chris Bisson, EastEnders' Charlie Brooks, Danniella Westbrook and Sid Owen, and Sheree Murphy and Malandra Burrows from Emmerdale.
A source told the newspaper that Lucy would be "perfect" for the show's 13th series, which is expected to start in November.
Hosts Ant and Dec have joked that there's a space for EastEnders actor Shane Richie if he wanted the challenge.
Other names that have been linked to the coming series include The Only Way Is Essex's James 'Arg' Argent and Joey Essex, footballer Michael Owen and Olympic swimmer Tom Daley.
