A huge star-studded concert to raise money for Children In Need is being championed by X Factor judge Gary Barlow.

The Take That star has used his influence to recruit acts such as Robbie Williams, Little Mix, Dizzee Rascal and Rizzle Kicks for the Children In Need Rocks 2013 event.

Gary told The Sun: "I'm excited that these incredible artists are giving their time for a special charity that is close to my heart.

"This year, BBC Children In Need Rocks is going to be bigger and better than ever."

Children In Need Rocks first took place in Manchester in 2011, raising more than £2.5m.

This year's concerts – hosted by Chris Evans and Fearne Cotton – will be held at the Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith, on November 12 and 13.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Friday) at 9am.
