'Moon Walker' Lets You Take One Giant, Pretend Leap For Mankind

Ever wanted to walk on the Moon? Sadly, we're not much closer to mass tourism to our only natural satellite than we were thirty years ago. But we do at least have another option.

Over at the CEATEC conference in Japan, TE Connectivity is showing off a pretty impressive (and only slightly ridiculous) moon gravity simulator. The machine is more than just a crane with a funky space-grey paint job. It uses sensors on the floor to detect your landing, Nasa-authorised parts to blaance the motion and a computer to make sure you're experiencing exactly 0.17G.
