It's not everybody's idea of fun, but Pippa Middleton and her pals looked like they'd had a whale of a time shooting pheasant and partridge this weekend.
The socialite headed off to the Drum Estate in Edinburgh with boyfriend Nico Jackson and a group of friends to enjoy the outdoor activity.
An Instagram user called John Greig uploaded a pic of the group showing off their kills as they posed with a large number of birds at their feet.
He wrote alongside the photo: "#PippaMiddleton and her crew shooting today at the drum estate."
And, of course, Pippa was in full country garb, wearing a wax jacket, a flat cap and sturdy boots.
Another picture showed her looking relaxed and happy as she played with the estate dogs wearing a bright orange jumper.
The weekend away is another sign Pippa's relationship with Nico is going from strength to strength. She even recently hinted in her regular column that she could see herself being a "DIY bride".
